PETCARE AWARD FOR CANINE EXCELLENCE

Happy to inform you that PACE award for the year 2006 is won by Dr. D.K. Patil, M.V.Sc.(Surgery) is a renowned pet practiotioner from Mumbai. The event was held at Hotel Sea Princess, Juhu in Mumbai on 9th June 2007. For detailed criteria click.

Dr. D.K.Patil , is renowned Pet Practitioner in Vashi , Mumbai. Dr. Das.K. Patil has done his post graduation in surgery from Bombay Veterinary College and is been practicing in Mumbai since 20 years. He was in the panel of directors for " Voice for animals in distress “ stray dog lovers association and given honorary service to the stray animals as a veterinary surgeon. He was also awarded as " best field vet " at ISVS conference in the year 2002.

Brief on pace seminar: PETCARE in association with PPAM ( Pet Practitioner Association of Mumbai ) organized PACE seminar at Hotel Sea Princess, Juhu on 9th June 2007. Around 70 Pet Practitioner of Mumbai attended the PACE seminar. The seminar commenced with the opening remarks from Mr. Bharat Tandon , Managing Director, PETCARE in which he mentioned that pace award is instituted in the year 2000 to honor the exemplary contribution of veterinarians in field of pet fraternity. He also mentioned we received 28 entries for PACE 2006 of which jury committee consisting of eminent personalities Maj. Gen. Dr. R.M. Kharb, Chairman , Animal welfare Board of India , Dr. Yathiraj , Professor & Head , Veterinary college , Bangalore and himself, elected Dr. D.K.Patil as a winner of PACE 2006.

Then the session was followed by speech from Dr. C.C.Wakankar , President , PPAM and key note address from Maj. Gen. Dr. R.M.Kharb. Dr. Yathiraj , delivered lecture on "Nutritional related skeletal disorder in dogs”. Dr. Das .K.Patil was honored from chief guest Maj. Gen. Dr. R.M. Kharb , with trophy & Citation.

We released Organic Calcium as ProviCal.Pet , with unique source of calcium "MCHC" and with 1:0.8 Calcium & Phosphorus ratio in the product. Detailed product information was given by Dr. Basavaraj, Product manager. The seminar was concluded by General Manager, Petcare Dr. Sandeep Karkhanis with vote of thanks.
